RCO Trains Women on Electricity and Mechanics
The Royal Charity Organization (RCO) in cooperation with Nasser Vocational Training Center (NVTC) held a session on electricity and mechanics for a group of mothers and girls.
The session included the basics of electricity an air conditioners maintenance, along with identifying electronic devices, their risks, how to deal with them in cases of emergency, and how to build electronic wiring. Also, it included how to fix any car problems after identifying the parts of the car and how to change the tires.
Furthermore, RCO extends its sincere thanks to NVTC for their great cooperation and holding this session a couple of times after the success of the previous sessions and their turnout.
Under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa RCO Signs a Rental Agreement of Al-Khair Towers with the Ministry of Health and NHRA
His Majesty’s representative for charity and youth affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organization (RCO) His Highness Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa commended the great efforts which RCO receives from His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa the beloved monarch of the country, who is considered the largest supporter of humanitarian and charity work in the Kingdom of Bahrain, appreciating the guidance of His Majesty in providing all sorts of support and care to the Bahraini orphans and widows, and His Majesty’s concern around the continuity of such care through the provision of a constant and permanent source of income of RCO and strengthening its financial status in the Charitable Trusts and the development investments which benefits both society and the orphans.
This was brought on the occasion of RCO signing a rental agreement of Al-Khair Towers with the Ministry of Health and The National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) under the guidance of His Majesty’s representative for charity and youth affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of RCO His Highness Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
His Highness said “We’re honored to give our sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the beloved Monarch of the Country and the Honorary Chairman of RCO, on his great interest in the advancement and development of RCO’s work. As His Majesty’s contribution of a piece of land in the area of Sanabis to establish Al-Khair Towers serves to provide various services for a better tomorrow and a better future for all individuals of the generous Bahraini people.”
Commending the generous support which RCO receives from the good government led by the Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and with the support of the Crown Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Furthermore, His Highness added that under the royal guidance RCO had established and rented Al-Khair Towers in accordance with a special system for its revenues to be allocated to charity and humanitarian work done by RCO to raise the living standards of the families affiliated with RCO and everyone in need in the Kingdom and diversify the financial sources of the Organization through investments projects that are held to achieve this objective.
Praising the cooperation of the Ministry of Health and NHRA in contributing with RCO to serve charity and humanitarian work done by the Organization by renting the towers, which contributes to the charity and humanitarian work of the Organization.
On his part, His Excellency the Secretary General of RCO Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the Honorary Chairman of RCO the King, and to the good government for the great support and care which RCO gets to provide the best services to its families and all the eligible groups in our precious Kingdom, commending the efforts made by His Highness Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa in leading charity and humanitarian work which RCO does.
Furthermore, His Excellency the Secretary General indicated that AL-Khair Towers are two towers consisting of 23 floors, as they’re created within the new quinquennial strategy of the Organization which aims to achieve a capital financial architecture to ensure the continuity of the work of this charitable entity established by His Majesty the King and to be far from any economic influences that might affect the provision of its services to the beneficiary groups of its work.
For his part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Dr. Waleed Al-Mana was pleased with the Ministry of Health being one of the contributors in supporting the projects of RCO that are led by His Majesty’s representative for charity and youth affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of RCO His Highness Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Where everyone gets to sense the requital and reward from Allah Almighty, also, Al-Mana indicated that through this project the Ministry of Health had invested its funds in a huge project that is considered one of the best investments, and that is investing in charity work which benefits all segments of society.
Also, on her part the CEO of NHRA Dr. Mariam Al-Jalahma commended the charitable efforts made by the Organization and was pleased with this work as it combines the professional and charity sides of the projects of RCO, as NHRA will be one of the direct contributors in supporting charity work in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
RCO Holds Baraka Night in Cooperation with ABG
The Royal Charity Organization (RCO) organized in cooperation with Al-Baraka Banking Group (ABG) the 3rd Baraka Night which was held at the Officers Club Hall and in which about 400 people from RCO’s families participated in the event.
The night included several programs including Ramadhan’s Iftar in a family friendly atmosphere and traditional games, traditional corners such as dressing the hair with Basil leaves, pottery decorating and teaching girls how to make bracelets from Arabian Jasmine, as well as teaching boys how to put Ghitra on, link a rosary and decorate drums.
The kids had a good time in the traditional games and competitions with the participation of the characters of ‘Tafash’ series, and at the end of the day, sweets were given to the kids on the occasion of Gergaoon.
Moreover, this event was held for the third year in a row under the principle of social partnership between RCO and ABG and within their valuable contribution in serving orphans and widows.
Also, RCO expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to ABG on their continuous cooperation, their endeavor to serve the community and their support to the RCO families.
